Interpreter debates

Because keeping up with a blog debate can involve a lot of confusing back-and-forth page navigation, we've created an 'Interpreter debate' feature to make things simpler.

Whenever we stage a debate on The Interpreter, we'll tag each post in that debate with a specific debate name (eg. 'Debate: Defence White Paper'). Those posts will carry a message just under the header, reading:

This post is part of a debate - click here to see how this debate started and developed.

When you click on the message, you'll go to a separate page that has every blog post in that debate, in chronological order

So no more endless clicking and confusing navigation, just a single page where, firstly, you'll see how the debate started, and from there, how it developed.

Below is a list of all the debates we have hosted on The Interpreter.

Interpreting the Aid Review

This is the archive of a Lowy Institute blog which ran from January to April of 2011. It was published to debate the Gillard Government's independent aid review, which was then in its research and consultation phase. We offer this archive as a service to researchers and the general public.
